Jeremiah 51:52-54

⁵² However, the days are surely coming,
    says the Lord,
when I will punish her idols,
    and the wounded will groan
    throughout all her land.
⁵³ Even if Babylon were to scale the heavens
    and reinforce her inaccessible citadel,
I would send forth destroyers,
    and they would come to her.
⁵⁴ Agonized cries can be heard from Babylon,
    and sounds of great destruction
    from the land of the Chaldeans.
